Choosing the best Fishing Charter for your family or group of anglers can be challenging. We offer private charters, sunset, shark trips, and sunset dolphin cruises based in Destin. We truly offer something fun to do for everyone at Life's 2 Short! The sunset dolphin cruise is our shortest trip that we offer and is an hour and a half long. Our private fishing charters range from 4 to 8 hours. Sunset shark trips are two hours long.
Our Four-Five Hour Charter is specifically designed for novice anglers who may not yet be familiar with the intricacies of saltwater fishing, as well as families with younger children who are looking for a fun and educational experience on the water. During this four-hour adventure, we will take the time to cover essential bottom fishing techniques, ensuring that everyone feels confident and prepared to cast their lines. We will be targeting a variety of exciting reef species, including, but certainly not limited to, Vermilion snapper, gray triggerfish, Red Porgy, ruby lips, and many more captivating fish that call these waters home.
For those seeking a bit more excitement, our Six-Hour Charter presents clients with the incredible opportunity to troll for fish classified as pelagic species, which are known for their thrilling fights and delicious meat. This charter can include species such as King mackerel, Spanish mackerel, mahi-mahi, sailfish, wahoo, blackfin tuna, and Bonita. In the event that the trolling bite is slow during your expedition, rest assured that you will still have the flexibility to target various reef fish, including gag grouper, scamp grouper, red grouper, red snapper, black snapper, lane snapper, and gray triggerfish.
For the more seasoned angler, our Eight-Hour Charter offers an exhilarating experience. Anglers keen on targeting fish that are less pressured will have the unique opportunity to venture further away from the pass, exploring less-pressured reefs and wrecks that are often overlooked. Fish closer to the pass can be heavily pressured during our busy peak season, largely due to the multitude of charters operating out of Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, and the surrounding areas. During this comprehensive eight-hour trip, we will engage in procuring live baits, traveling to less pressured waters, and focusing on targeting larger, more aggressive fish, ultimately leading to greater catches. High-speed trolling with artificial baits and lures will also be accessible during this particular charter.

It’s important to note that sea conditions are always a key factor in planning our charters. If the seas are not favorable for a specific style of fishing, we will always prioritize the option that is most productive and, importantly,
